The weekend after the last round of snow that fell on the Washington, DC area, I decided to make use of what mother nature had provided and try to create some simple images with the snow as one of the contrasting elements. A couple of miles from our home was Bubba’s East Coast Rods & Customs (now moved to Florida) which always has some interesting vehicles outside in various states of restoration. Although the snow had started to melt there was enough left to provide me with the images I was hoping for. The two cars in these images, a 1947 Chevrolet Fleetmaster and a 1941 Oldsmobile 98 provided the best contrast to the white of the snow.

Rust looks good with anything and snow is no exception Mark. The second image color contrast with the snow and blue is killer.

Now here is something you don’r see very often. Antique cars and snow. Really adds a nice dimension to the images, Mark. Love that second shot.
