Fall colors on horse farm, Fauquier County, Virginia

This week will bring be a couple of quick posts as we have family in town. This image was captured just before Hurricane Sandy finished off what was left of the fall colors. I just loved the way the trees and their bright foliage framed the horse as it grazed in its paddock. Unfortunately, I could not get it to raise its head for me but I still liked the tranquility of the scene.
